Cecilia Dougherty is a video artist and photographer whose favorite subjects include feminism, the study of everyday life, architecture, and anthropology. She will be reading from her book, The Irreducible I: Space, Place, Authenticity, and Change (2013, Atropos).

Roy Pérez is a founding member of the birdsong arts collective and small press with Tommy Pico.  His writing has appeared in Glitter Tongue, TheThePoetry, The Best of PANIC! anthology, FENCE magazine. A film adaptation of his poem, "Things We Both Know (Not Our Real Names),” by director Finn Paul recently toured the country as part of Infrared 3: New Visions from the Queer Underground.  Roy teaches literature and ethnic studies at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, and is nearing completion of a book on art, sex and race tentatively titled Queer Figments of the Latino Imaginary.
